Hank Parker, fishing ledgend and host of the television show "Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine" & "Hank Parker 3D" will be the evenings key note speaker. Also this year, meet Brad Jerman, who's Ohio buck took the World Record for typical whitetail taken with a crossbow. You're not going to want to miss this event. God’s Great Outdoors & Rushing Wind Retreat Center Have partnered together to put on these life changing 5 day events. Bring along an unsaved friend or loved one and join us as some of America's top sportsmen and women share their testimonies with you. Past speakers include Keith Jennings from Realtree Outdoors, Ron Lindner of Lindner’s Angling Edge TV Show, Trevor Ruble CEO and Founder of Hooked For Life Ministries, and many many more.

You are sure to be encouraged as you hear from these veterans in the field. So come join us for some great fishing and wonderful Christian fellowship in this unique and beautiful setting in the Canadian wilderness.

The cost per person is $750.00 US funds. The price does not include fishing license. A deposit of $100 US funds is required per person. This deposit is not refundable but is transferable and can be used at a later date this summer or the following summer. Prices are subject to change without notice prior to booking with deposit.

Answers in Genesis Fossil Hunt Adventure

This years fossil hunt was a huge success and folks are already asking about next years event. Please keep the planning of next years event in your prayers. We'll be sure to share the plans and dates for the 2010 fossil hunt as soon as we have them finalized.

This is an invitation for you and your family to join us on August 14th & 15th, 2009 for a God’s Great Outdoors Adventure! We’ll be at the Answers In Genesis Creation Museum Friday the 14th near the Cincinnati Ohio Airport in Petersburg, KY. Buddy Davis will be the speaker for our group that day.

Then on the 15th we’ll go to Caesar Creek State Park across on the Ohio side of the Ohio River doing a Family Fossil Hunt. You can take the fossils you find home with you! Dr John Whitmore who is a geologist and paleontologist at Cedarville University will be our identification guide/speaker on this outing!

This is one hunt you don't want to miss. Make plans now to join us on the amazing fundraising event. Take to the field with well known Pro Sportsmen from both the world of athletics as well as the fishing/hunting arena such as Ex-Boston Red Sox Pitcher, Mike Timlin, Bass Pro, Alton Jones, Professional Archer, Ray Howell & Ex-Boston Red Sox Fielder, Trot Nixon. Guest speakers will share their stories and testimonies after breakfast and evening meals.We anticipate a full lodge, so don't delay.

Fathers To Future Men was formed in 2007 when Ken Beck the owner of Black Widow Bows turned over to God’s Great Outdoors Board of Directors, the operation and ownership of a foundation which was established as a result of their family’s 1979 loss. The Scott Beck Memorial Fund was created in memory of Ken’s son who was killed at the age of sixteen as a result of a dune buggy accident. Fathers To Future Men was established because of GGO’s Board of Directors personal relationship with a boy who’s dad had started beating up on the youngster both physically and emotionally, telling his son, “I never want to see you again!” This pheasant hunt is a fund raiser targeted to reach other boys who are or have undergone this type of parental abuse.

Arrive Thursday evening, departure on Sunday afternoon. Fly in hunters will use Sioux Falls, SD airport and then drive through Mitchell, SD. They can stop in the city of Mitchell, SD for supper hour and then visit the Cabela’s, for supplies. Or just travel on through and dine at the Pheasant City Lodge.
